About this class
An engaging online class designed to help students excel in Year 9 Cambridge Mathematics, aligned with the Year 9 Garden International School syllabus. Lessons are highly interactive, with constant student participation, guided questioning, and real-time feedback to ensure concepts are fully understood. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves with questions at least one grade above their current level, helping them develop stronger problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence in tackling unfamiliar problems. With a focus on active learning, students will build mathematical confidence while developing effective techniques for both schoolwork and examinations in a supportive learning environment.

Meet the tutor
I believe good Mathematics teaching is not just about getting the right answer—it’s about learning how to think. With a degree in Actuarial Science and around a decade of teaching experience, I have developed a strong passion for helping students understand and enjoy Mathematics. I teach the Malaysian, Singaporean and Cambridge curricula, adapting my lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities. My lessons are highly interactive. I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking, participate actively and challenge themselves with unfamiliar problems. Beyond the school syllabus, I also incorporate international mathematics competition-style questions to develop critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. My goal is to make Mathematics engaging, challenging and meaningful, while helping students build the confidence to think independently and realise their potential.

Session Credits: Prepay for projected upcoming sessions using credits. Credits keep flexible session use clear while charges follow the class schedule shown above.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Monthly Access: Cancel at least 24 hours before the first class of the month and you won't be charged — your payment is returned as BreviLearn credit. If you cancel mid-month, sessions continue until the end of the month and access ends at month end. No BreviLearn credit is issued for remaining sessions.
Session Credits: Cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled session to cancel or reschedule with the tutor. Unused session credits are returned as BreviLearn credit.
