Tuition has always been about a simple connection: someone who knows something, and someone who wants to learn it.
But today, the experience around that connection can feel much more complicated. Finding the right tutor. Arranging a schedule. Joining the online lesson. Getting the notes. Tracking progress. Managing payment.
The teaching happens in one place. Everything around it happens somewhere else.
We believe online tuition can come together differently. This article explains what we're building at BreviLearn, and why we think an integrated tuition marketplace can serve tutors, parents and students better than the patchwork of tools most people use today.
Why Online Tuition Can Work Differently
Most online tuition today is assembled by hand. One channel to find students. Another to book them. A third app to teach in. A fourth to share materials. A fifth to chase payment.
It works — but barely. The tutor juggles tools, the parent loses track of what was agreed, and the student's learning ends up scattered across platforms that don't talk to each other.
That fragmentation isn't a feature of tuition. It's a side-effect of having no single place where the whole experience lives.
So the question isn't "how do we make the patchwork a little easier to manage?" It's "what if the patchwork didn't exist?" Tutors publish classes. Parents and students search for tuition. That shift — from tutor profiles on a directory to classes on a marketplace — is where a better experience becomes possible.
A Marketplace for Tuition

BreviLearn is an integrated online tuition marketplace built to connect tutors who want to teach with parents and students looking for tuition.
There is an important difference in how we think about that connection.
Instead of being a directory of tutor profiles, BreviLearn is designed around the classes tutors actually want to offer. A tutor can create a class around a particular subject, syllabus, level, rate and schedule. Parents and students can then discover classes based on what they are looking for.
It creates a simple relationship:
Tutors bring what they teach.
Students bring what they want to learn.
BreviLearn brings them together.
For Tutors: Your Knowledge, Your Classes
Every tutor has something different to offer. Different subjects. Different teaching styles. Different ways of structuring a class.
We believe tutors should have the freedom to present that.
On BreviLearn, tutors build a profile and create classes around what they actually want to teach. They define the subject, syllabus, level, rate and schedule — then make those classes available for parents and students to discover.
The goal isn't to give tutors another profile on another website. It's to give tutors a place to build and offer what they teach.
For Parents & Students: Find the Tuition That Fits
Finding tuition should begin with what you actually need.
- A particular subject.
- A particular syllabus.
- A particular level.
- A particular budget.
- A particular schedule.
BreviLearn gives parents and students a place to explore those options, browse and compare tutors, look at reviews, ask questions before booking, and where available try a class before committing.
We don't believe there's always one right answer to "which tutor should I choose?" There should be choice. There should be information. And you should be able to decide who is right for you. Explore online tuition classes on BreviLearn →
Our Role Is Bigger Than the Connection

Bringing tutors and students together is only the beginning. Once a class is found, there's an entire learning experience around it — and that's where BreviLearn aims to play a bigger role.
The journey looks like this:
- Find the right class in the marketplace.
- Book it through BreviLearn, with payment handled up front.
- Learn in the built-in virtual classroom, with materials and recordings attached.
- Track progress across sessions, for both tutor and family.
Classes run through BreviLearn's built-in virtual classroom. Learning materials, notes, recordings and homework stay connected to the class. Tutors record what was covered; parents gain visibility into sessions and progress. Communication and payments are built in too.
For parents, paying up front isn't a risk — it's a safeguard. You pay BreviLearn directly when you book, and we hold the payment until the session has been confirmed as taken. If a class doesn't happen, the money doesn't move. You're dealing with a Malaysian registered company — Xuan Rui Technology (LA0078605-U) — not sending money to a stranger.
The tuition journey shouldn't have to be pieced together across different places.
More Than Finding a Tutor
A directory stops at discovery. BreviLearn goes further — into booking, learning, materials and tracking.
What We Want to Make Possible
We're building BreviLearn around three simple ideas.
More Opportunity for Tutors
Tutors should have more ways to present what they teach, build their own classes, and be discovered by students who are actually looking for what they offer.
More Choice for Parents and Students
Parents and students should be able to discover different tutors and classes and make their own decisions based on what fits their needs.
A More Connected Tuition Experience
Finding a class is important — but so is everything that happens afterwards. We want the experience around tuition to feel more organised, more accessible, and easier to manage for everyone involved.
Rethinking How Tuition Comes Together
We don't think the future of tuition is simply about putting lessons online. It's about making the entire experience around learning work better.
Marketplaces have already changed how people discover and access many kinds of services. Airbnb changed how people discover and book accommodation. Grab changed how people access everyday services in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.
We believe tuition can benefit from a similar idea — a marketplace built around choice, accessibility and connection.
Our ambition is not to become the "Airbnb of tuition." Our ambition is simpler: to build the marketplace for tuition.
- A place where tutors can create and offer the classes they want to teach.
- A place where parents and students can discover the tuition they need.
- And a platform that supports what happens in between.
This Is BreviLearn
We are not here to replace the tutor. The tutor brings the teaching.
We are not here to decide what a student should learn. The student and their family make that choice.
Our role is to provide the marketplace and the tools that help bring the two sides together — and to make the experience around tuition simpler along the way.
There's still a lot for us to build. But the direction is clear. We want to rethink the way online tuition comes together.
Welcome to BreviLearn.
