The first tutors on BreviLearn shape the platform. In return, we're offering something we won't repeat — pick the path that fits you. Option A rewards tutors who bring their existing students. Option B is for tutors starting fresh. Either way, your commission is halved for your first months on the platform.
Every verified tutor gets cloud storage included. Upload notes, worksheets, past papers, and session recordings. Share individual files or full folders with specific students directly from your dashboard — all at no extra charge.
BreviLearn earns a platform fee on completed sessions — deducted from what parents pay before your earnings are calculated. During beta, this is set at 20% per month before any founding tutor discount is applied. If you have no students, there is no charge. You only share when you earn. Listing your classes, storing materials, and using the platform tools costs you nothing. Founding tutors also benefit from a reduced rate for their first months — see the Founding Tutor Offer section above.
Never. Parents pay BreviLearn directly via FPX or DuitNow when they book. We hold the payment and release your earnings to your bank account at the start of the following month. Even if a parent disputes a charge, your payout is protected — we deal with it, not you.
We aim to review all verification submissions within 3–5 business days. You'll receive a notification once approved. During this time you can set up your profile and draft your class listings.
Yes — you can list as many classes as you teach. Each class has its own listing page with its own subject, syllabus, level, schedule, and rate. Parents can browse and book any of your classes independently.
No — it's entirely your choice. Tutors who offer a free trial tend to receive more initial bookings, but it is not required. You can toggle the trial option per listing, and you won't be penalised for not offering one.
Cancellation policies are set by you on each listing. You can require 24-hour notice for a full refund, or set your own terms. Sessions cancelled outside your policy window are paid to you in full.
BreviLearn is an online-first platform. At this stage we do not support in-person or home visit sessions — all classes are conducted through our built-in virtual classroom. That said, in-person options are something we may explore in a later phase.
