Acceptance
By accessing or using BreviLearn, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use BreviLearn for a child, student, organisation, or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
Accounts And Eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by a child or linked student you manage.
Students under 18 should use BreviLearn only with consent and supervision from a parent, guardian, or authorised adult. Tutors must be legally able to provide the teaching services they list and must pass any verification checks required by BreviLearn.
Students under 13 may not create a BreviLearn account directly. A parent, guardian, school, or authorised educator must create, manage, or approve the account where required. By creating a student account, you confirm that you are 13 or older, or that the account is being created or used with the required parent, guardian, school, or authorised educator permission.
During private beta, BreviLearn may require access codes, invitations, or approval before an account can use certain features.
Our Platform Role
BreviLearn provides a marketplace and software platform for discovering tutors, managing classes, running live sessions, sharing materials, tracking homework, and handling related payments. Tutors are independent providers, not employees or agents of BreviLearn. BreviLearn does not guarantee academic results, exam outcomes, or a particular teaching style.
Tutor Responsibilities
Tutors must:
- Provide accurate identity, qualification, teaching, schedule, price, and payout information.
- Only list classes they are qualified and available to teach.
- Comply with applicable education, tax, child safety, privacy, and professional obligations.
- Set and honour clear class, cancellation, attendance, homework, and refund expectations.
- Use student data, recordings, homework, and class materials only for legitimate class purposes.
- Treat parents, students, and other users respectfully and safely.
BreviLearn may reject, pause, or remove tutor profiles, classes, materials, or payouts where verification fails, information is inaccurate, safety is at risk, or these terms are breached.
Parent And Student Responsibilities
Parents and students must:
- Provide accurate enrolment, child, schedule, and payment information.
- Join sessions on time and follow reasonable tutor instructions and class rules.
- Use class materials, recordings, chat, homework, and whiteboards only for personal learning.
- Respect tutors and classmates, and avoid harassment, abuse, discrimination, cheating, or disruptive conduct.
- Keep invite links, account credentials, and access codes private.
Payments, Refunds, And Payouts
Fees, class prices, wallet top-ups, payment timing, refund rules, and tutor payout timing may be shown in the relevant class listing, checkout, dashboard, or payment flow. You agree to pay all amounts you authorise through BreviLearn.
Parents and students should not bypass BreviLearn to avoid platform payment, enrolment, or safety workflows. Tutors should not solicit off-platform payment for classes discovered, booked, or managed through BreviLearn unless BreviLearn has expressly allowed it.
Refunds and cancellations may depend on the tutor's listed policy, the status of the class or session, payment provider rules, and applicable law. BreviLearn may correct obvious pricing or payment errors.
Live Classroom And Recordings
BreviLearn may provide video, audio, chat, whiteboard, file upload, homework, announcements, session notes, attendance, and recording features. By joining a session, you understand that your name, image, voice, messages, screen activity, or uploaded content may be visible to other authorised class participants.
Do not record, download, copy, distribute, or publish class recordings, screenshots, student work, messages, or materials unless you have the required rights and permissions.
User Content
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as class listings, notes, homework, messages, files, whiteboards, and recordings. You give BreviLearn a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, transmit, store, copy, and adapt that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the platform.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, misleading, harmful, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or unsafe for students.
Prohibited Use
- Break the law, infringe rights, or violate another person's privacy.
- Misrepresent identity, qualifications, class availability, prices, or learning outcomes.
- Interfere with BreviLearn's security, availability, payments, or classroom tools.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or misuse the platform.
- Share malware, spam, scams, unauthorised advertising, or harmful links.
- Use BreviLearn to exploit, groom, harass, or endanger a child or any other person.
BreviLearn Intellectual Property
BreviLearn, our logo, software, design, workflows, and platform content are owned by BreviLearn or our licensors. These terms do not give you ownership of BreviLearn or a right to use our brand except as allowed by us.
Beta Features And Availability
BreviLearn may change, pause, limit, or remove features, especially during beta. We aim to keep the platform useful and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access to any feature.
Suspension And Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts, classes, enrolments, materials, payments, or access where we believe there is a breach of these terms, inaccurate information, non-payment, safety risk, fraud, platform abuse, legal risk, or harm to BreviLearn or other users. If we learn that a student under 13 created an account directly without required permission, we may restrict the account while we request parent, guardian, school, or authorised educator approval, or delete the account and related personal data where appropriate.
Disclaimers And Liability
BreviLearn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee tutor performance, student grades, exam results, compatibility with every device, or uninterrupted access.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BreviLearn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts in Malaysia will have jurisdiction over disputes unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms as BreviLearn changes. The latest version will be posted on this page. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice in the platform or by email.
